|Whole Foods Market was founded in Austin, Texas, when four local businesspeople decided the natural foods industry was ready for a supermarket format. Our founders were John Mackey and Renee Lawson Hardy, owners of Safer Way Natural Foods, and Craig Weller and Mark Skiles, owners of Clarksville Natural Grocery. The original Whole Foods Market opened in 1980 with a staff of only 19 people. It was an immediate success. At the time, there were less than half a dozen natural food supermarkets in the United States. We have grown by leaps and bounds since our first store opened.|
|The idea and name for Duck Donuts originated in Duck, North Carolina. We soon found that our warm, fresh and made-to-order donuts paired with a great selection of coffees was a recipe for success! Along the way, we have kept our focus on offering a welcoming, family-friendly and delicious experience to everyone that visits one of our stores. We love to create donuts, and we love to create smiles! Our many fans tell us we are on the right track, and while there may be other donuts out there—we feel we’ve found a pretty special combination.|

The assortment is carefully selected by our buying team in Europe and produced by traditional family businesses in the respective country of origin. The care taken in the selection process and quality controls employed is why their products maintain their authentic flavors and superior quality. You can taste the Mediterranean sun in the products. As the name suggests, the specialty is “on-tap” oils and vinegars which consist of only the best quality given our rigorous selection process and long-standing partnerships with only a select few artisan producers around the world.|

|It all started in the 50s… Would you believe we started out as a small chain of convenience stores? It’s true. Way back in 1958. We were called Pronto Markets. In ‘67, our founder, the original Trader Joe, changed our name (yes, to Trader Joe’s) and the way we do business.
We made the stores bigger (if you can imagine), decked the walls with cedar planks and donned our crew in cool Hawaiian shirts. Most importantly, we started packaging innovative, hard-to-find, great-tasting foods under the “Trader Joe’s” name. That cut our costs and saved you money. Still does. And that’s important, because “Value” is a concept we take very seriously. And by ‘Value,’ we mean great everyday prices on all of our great products — no sales, no gimmicks, no clubs to join, no special cards to swipe…

|Fratellino’s Italian Restaurant is the premiere Italian Restaurant, now at 600 S. Brea Blvd., Brea, CA. After 10 successful years doing business in Fullerton, they relocated their business to Brea. They’ve moved just 6 blocks North (on Brea Blvd.) from the old location. The new location has more seating and parking, a Banquet Room and a Patio. Like always, they offer “Excellent Food and Service at a Very Reasonable Price”.|
